18 years working experience as dancers and teachers of argentine tango in Japan. Winners of the 2006 Asian Championship in stage category. In Taiwan, Akiyoshi looks forward to eating “小龍包“ and Noriko is interested in "変身写真"!



[ Hung-Yut & Hwayi ]
- from San Francisco and Seoul

Dancers, teachers, and organizers from Seoul, Korea. Hwayi was 1st runner up at the 2004 World Tango Championship in Buenos Aires, stage category. Hung-Yut started dancing and teaching in San Francisco. He was the winner of the 2002 USA Tango Contest in Los Angeles. They met in Seoul in 2005 and recently married in Hong Kong where Hung-Yut grew up. This Taipei festival will be their first honeymoon.

With 8 years experience as dancers and teachers of argentine tango in Taipei, Derrick & Agnes are among the best tango dancers in Taiwan, mixing classic tango essence with new trendy styles. Semi finalists in both salon and stage category in the 2006 World Tango Championship in Buenos Aires.

Pioneers of argentine tango in Taiwan, founders of the Taipei Tango Association and organizers of the Taipei Tango Festival. Professional tango dancers, teachers and choreographers since 2002, with performing experiences in Japan, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Spain. Invited as tango masters to the 2008 Festival Tango Sitges in Spain, sharing stage with Fernando Galera & Vilma Vega, Adrian Veredice & Alejandra Hobert, and Joseba & Bakartxo. Owners of Tanguisimo Tango Space, the only tango school providing tango lessons, cultural talks, milongas and events in Taipei.
